The Kayalu Toughbar® is a premium-grade 10.5" (26.7 cm) hardened stainless steel extension arm compatible with all RAM Mount assemblies using RAM's 1-inch "B" ball, including camera mounts, GPS mounts, iPhone and iPod mounts, fishfinder mounts, binocular mounts — virtually any device mount that uses RAM Mounts' popular 1-inch "B" size ball-and-socket system.
The Toughbar is also compatible with Kayalu nClamp® clamping mounts, ParkerMount® rigid base mounts and Kayalu-accessorized RAM Locking Suction mounts.
The KLA-5007 Toughbar extends your existing RAM Mounts assembly by 10.5". We also offer an 8.5" Toughbar (KLA-5006) and a Toughbar Elbow (KLA-5010) that includes both an 8.5" and 10.5" arm.
The Toughbar is manufacturedusing a pair of 100% original RAM Mounts marine-grade anodized aluminum 1-inch "B" balls and a RAM Mounts high-strength composite socket arm. The Toughbar is assembled with a black oxide treated stainless steel extension rod, UV-resistant PVC tubing, and Loctite® threadlocker.
The Toughbar is compatible with:
• nClamp® clamping mounts
• ParkerMount® rigid base mounts
• Kayalu-enhanced RAM Locking Suction mounts
• All RAM Mounts assemblies using the standard 1-inch "B" ball
The Toughbar's socket arm provides an extra degree of freedom and versatility, sporting a large handle that allows you to easily reposition and lock the mount.
Using Multiple Extension ArmsMultiple Toughbar Extension Arms can be linked in succession to produce a highly flexible snaking arm. The Toughbar's steel rod and RAM Mounts coupler are both extremely durable, allowing multiple arms to remain stable while maintaining a heavy payload.
